The quote form collects your contact details and project information. This lets us pass your request to a local storm shelter installer or foundation repair company that serves your area. Below is what is collected, who receives it and how long it is kept. The site also records the page-counter events described below. Cloudflare processes requests as the hosting provider.
What the quote form collects
- The service you chose (storm shelters or foundation repair).
- Your city or ZIP code.
- Your phone number.
- Your name and a comment, if you choose to give them.
- Your agreement to be contacted, together with the exact consent wording shown to you and its version date.
With each request the site also records:
- the time it was sent
- the path of the page it was sent from
- the browser description your device sends (its “user agent”)
It does not ask for your email address, street address or payment details.
Who receives a quote request
The consent line on the form says that Storm & Ground and licensed local installers or repair companies may contact you about the request by phone or text. When you send the form, we share your request with an independent local installer or repair company that serves your area. This lets it contact you. Once it has your request, that company handles your information under its own practices. Consent is not a condition of buying anything.
Page counters
The site counts four actions:
- clicking a quote link
- starting to fill in the form
- sending the form
- submitting the city picker
For each one it stores only the name of the action, the page path and the time. The path is stored without a query string or fragment (the parts of a web address after a ? or #). It does not store what you typed, your phone number or your IP address with these counts. The quote form and page counters do not set cookies.
Cloudflare Web Analytics can also count page views when enabled.
Hosting
The site, the form and the database run on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages and its D1 database). Cloudflare processes requests to the site as our hosting provider.
When a new quote request arrives, its details are also sent to us as a Telegram message, so the request can be handled quickly.
How long data is kept
Saved quote requests are deleted automatically once they are more than two years old. Page-counter events contain no contact details.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top will change with it.
