By using Storm & Ground you accept these terms. They cover the information we publish and the quote requests we pass to local installers and repair companies.

The information is general

Pages describe storm shelters, foundation problems, prices and local rules in general terms. They are not engineering, structural, legal or safety advice for your home. For a decision about your foundation, rely on an on-site assessment by a repair company or a structural engineer. For a shelter’s design and placement, follow your city’s permit requirements and the installer’s engineered plans. For warnings and life-safety guidance during severe weather, follow the National Weather Service and your local emergency management office.

Prices are published ranges

Prices on the site are ranges taken from published price lists and cost guides, each with a source and a date. They are not quotes and not offers from Storm & Ground. Your actual price comes from the company you hire and depends on your home, your site and the work involved.

Rules can change

City fees, permit steps and programs such as SoonerSafe change. We date every source. Before you act, have the company you hire confirm any permit and fee needed for your job.

We are not party to your contract

If you send a quote request, we pass it to an independent local installer or repair company that serves your area. Any agreement you make is between you and that company. We do not install, repair or inspect anything. We do not guarantee any company’s work, prices or schedule. We are not responsible for what a company does or fails to do.

Source links lead to city, state, federal and company websites that we do not control. Their content can change after we check it.
